Job Summary

We're seeking a motivated and reliable Customer Service Gate Agent to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Ground Handling Department, you'll be responsible for assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking flights, monitoring computerized passenger boarding, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience

  • Monitor computerized passenger boarding to ensure accurate and timely boarding
  • Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • Operate the Jetway to facilitate safe and efficient boarding and disembarking
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives

Essential Qualifications and Competencies

* Successful completion of our comprehensive Gate Agent training course

  • Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in an airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous airline experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs, including our proprietary systems

Work Environment

* Use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment in a fast-paced airport environment

  • Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
  • All shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements

* Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs

  • Handle objects up to 70 pounds
  • Assist passengers with disabilities, including, but not limited to, pushing wheelchairs
