Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an Experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our data management team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our databases, managing customer data, and maintaining the integrity and completeness of our data. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
  • Customer Data Management: Type in data provided directly from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Create and manage spreadsheets with large data sets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Verification: Compare data with source documents to verify accuracy and ensure data integrity.
  • Data Maintenance: Update and maintain existing data as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Retrieval: Retrieve data from databases or electronic files upon request, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Backup: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss.
  • Paperwork Organization: Sort and organize paperwork post-data entry to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data management principles.
  • Typing Skills: Fast typing skills, with knowledge of touch typing strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Database Understanding: Basic understanding of databases and data management principles.
