Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Healthcare Live Chat or Tele Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing prompt and courteous responses to live chats or tele chats with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive and satisfactory experience for our residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting potential residents, family members, and healthcare professionals with inquiries and information regarding our facility's services and amenities, including our independent living, assisted living, and memory care options.
  • Responding to and resolving any issues or concerns raised during live or tele chats, working collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and effective responses.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge of our facility's policies and procedures, as well as current healthcare industry regulations, to provide informed and expert support.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support, and to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as healthcare administration, gerontology, or communications) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • The ability to multitask, handle a high volume of live or tele chats, and work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex issues.
  • Empathy and patience, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, and to provide support and guidance to residents and their families.
