Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry and Customer Service (On-Site/Overnight), you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations by performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, including triaging customer service requests and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely completion
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we encourage applicants with:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
