Copywriter & Content Support Assistant (1099 Contractor – Remote) We are looking for a reliable and creative Copywriter & Content Support Assistant to help support multiple brands with social media and marketing content. This is a flexible remote contractor position ideal for someone who understands social media, can write engaging content quickly, communicates well, and consistently meets deadlines. You will be assisting with content for a variety of businesses including western/equine, wellness, retail, coffee, and lifestyle brands.
Responsibilities
- Write captions for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube content
- Create hashtags, hooks, titles, and CTAs
- Assist with YouTube descriptions and video copy
- Assist with newsletters and blog writing
- Help with website copy updates when needed
- Organize and manage content deliverables
- Follow content calendars and posting schedules
- Adapt writing style to different businesses and audiences
- Communicate consistently and deliver work on time
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Good grammar and writing ability
- Organized and dependable
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with social media trends and marketing
- Must be responsive and able to meet deadlines consistently
Preferred (Not Required)
- Familiarity with Canva, Notion, Meta Business Suite, CapCut, or Go High Level
- Basic understanding of marketing and engagement strategies
