Online Behavior Specialist - PA
A position is available for a Behavior Specialist providing telehealth services to school-aged children. This contract role is based in Lock Haven, PA, and focuses on delivering behavioral interventions and support through virtual platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
- Providing telehealth sessions aimed at improving student behavior and social-emotional development.
- Collaborating remotely with teachers, caregivers, and other school personnel to ensure consistent behavioral support.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies based on data collected during sessions.
- Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation of all assessments, interventions, and communications.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credentials.
- Proven experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) within educational settings.
- Strong familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school professionals.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual environment.
