The role will liaise with cross functional partners in global brand marketing, brand management, sales, digital, consumer insights, and creative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead North America and EMEA paid media strategy and execution across McCormick’s full portfolio of brands, managing an internal team and agency partners on media strategy, media planning, trafficking, and optimization
  • Lead retail media search and display programs that drive sustained growth for the McCormick portfolio of brands across North America and EMEA.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBPs) in partnership with the sales team as part of annual planning
  • Lead media strategy and execution for DTC and social commerce in North America and EMEA, leveraging an internal team and agency partners to drive incremental revenue and build McCormick first party data
  • Build an media agency strategy and ecosystem globally, working closely with regional marketing leads and procurement to determine the right partners. Manage top to top relationships and agency partners and drive continuous improvement of agency effectiveness
  • Build and lead a modern media measurement program in partnership with the consumer insights team, measuring real-time performance for optimization and long-term impact of media programs on our brands and overall business
  • Support marketing leadership in developing annual marketing and flywheel activation plans and go to market for new product launches
  • Partner with the brand, media, and insights teams to measure effectiveness of paid, owned, and earned activity, reporting on insights and optimizing programs based on data
  • Monitor and report on industry media, digital/social and consumer trends that could inform new innovation, go to market plans or overall brand plans

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related field of study
  • At least 8+ years of experience in marketing with 5+ years’ experience in paid media.
  • Proven analytical, project management, and organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Consumer centric with a deep understanding of digital and retail media platforms and trends
  • Extremely strong creative and analytical skills, coupled with ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional executive-level presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and externally
