As we continue to grow our audience across newsletter, web, and social platforms, we are investing in creators who can turn complex travel rewards strategies into clear, engaging content that helps readers get more value out of every trip. We are looking for a Writer and Content Creator who lives and breathes the world of points, miles, and travel rewards. In this role, you will create content that helps our audience understand how to use loyalty programs, credit cards, and travel deals to unlock better travel experiences for less. This is a highly creative and audience-focused role for someone who enjoys translating complicated strategies into content that is practical, engaging, and easy to understand. You will contribute across multiple channels including our newsletter, website, and social platforms, helping readers discover smarter ways to travel while expanding Daily Drop’s reach in the points and miles community. You will also play an important role in expanding our social presence by turning travel tips and rewards strategies into short-form content, graphics, and simple video explainers that make the world of points and miles easier and more fun to learn. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Write and publish travel rewards content

• Write articles, guides, and updates about credit cards, airline miles, hotel points, and travel rewards
• Turn complex loyalty program concepts into clear, approachable content
• Research current card offers, travel strategies, and industry news
• Help create evergreen guides that help readers maximize points and miles

Create and manage social content

• Help plan and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.
• Turn travel tips and points strategies into engaging posts, carousels, and short videos
• Repurpose newsletter and website content into social-friendly formats
• Track what performs well and help refine our social strategy over time

Design simple visual content

• Create clean, engaging graphics for social media and blog posts
• Produce short-form video clips or reels explaining travel rewards tips
• Work in tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar lightweight editing platforms

Collaborate with the content team

• Work closely with writers, marketing, ops, and leadership to identify content opportunities
• Help distribute content across multiple channels
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with credit card and financial product content

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience with travel rewards

• Strong familiarity with airline miles, hotel points, and travel credit cards
• Understanding of loyalty programs, transfer partners, and award bookings
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging way

Strong writing skills

• Clear, conversational writing style
• Experience writing blog posts, newsletters, or other travel content
• Ability to simplify complicated financial or travel concepts

Social media experience

• Comfortable creating and publishing content on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Experience turning long-form content into short-form posts or videos
• Familiar with what performs well on social platforms

Basic design and video skills

• Experience using tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut, or similar
• Ability to create graphics and edit short-form videos
• Strong visual sense for clean, engaging content

• Have personally booked travel using points and miles
• Have built or managed a travel-related social media account
• Have experience working with affiliate-driven or SEO content

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

• Full-time, fully remote role. We ask that you’re available during U.S. business hours (8am–5pm Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific).
• Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based bonus potential.
