About Giveffect Giveffect is a nonprofit technology company focused on providing a CRM that connects fundraising, volunteer/donor management, and program data for nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit Solutions Consultant (Sales) The Nonprofit Solutions Consultant manages the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will use outbound techniques such as emails, cold calls, social media outreach, and networking events to build and grow your pipeline, perform lead qualification, conduct demos, and close deals. In this role you will need to understand the nonprofit space, potential clients, their pain points, our software, and how it can help nonprofits raise more funds, manage volunteers, and improve productivity. This position is foundational for a high‑tech sales career and is ideal for someone who wants to lead a sales team in the future. Ideal Candidate

  • Understand the nonprofit sector, specifically fundraising, donor relationships, and volunteer management.
  • At least 3 years of proven success selling software to nonprofits or fundraising/major gifts as a top performer.
  • Understand CRM functionality and can explain technical aspects to customers and prospects.
  • Build rapport quickly with new people— in writing, in-person, and by phone.
  • Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Willing to wear many hats and experiment with new methodologies.
  • Enjoy conversing, presenting, and collaborating with others.
  • Motivated by large commission checks and bonuses when exceeding quota.
  • Organized with a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Thrives in small teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a geographic territory and all nonprofit organizations located there, building partnerships.
  • Immerse yourself in the nonprofit community to become a trusted advisor and expert on common software needs.
  • Utilize outbound tactics (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach) to build a pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Schedule and conduct online and live demos, check‑ins, follow‑ups, and deliverables for closing; win at least 20%+ of deals.
  • Practice data hygiene within the CRM—maintain tasks and document detailed notes of each call/interaction.
  • Research and update contact information for existing leads; maintain accurate notes and opportunities.
  • Deliver high forecast accuracy and pipeline management; achieve sales quota.
  • Provide detailed reports on pipeline status and ROI.
  • Research, plan, and attend nonprofit‑specific conferences, networking events to increase brand awareness and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Client Success teams, contribute to strategy development and overall culture.

Compensation

Package

  • OTE $82,000 - $200,000 USD
  • Bonus (twice annually)
