Senior Auditor – National CPA Firm
About the position A leading National Public Accounting firm is actively looking to add an experienced Auditor to their expanding audit and assurance team. In this customer-facing position, Senior Auditors will work closely with teammates and senior leaders at the firm to provide industry-leading assurance and accounting services.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients regularly to coordinate and execute a range of audit tasks
- Work with senior management to provide guidance and supporting documents to clients
- Perform testing on client balance sheets and income statements
- Manage budgets, expenses, and staff allocation for client engagements
- Review financial statements and work papers for accuracy
- Identify risk areas and guide, along with senior management, on best practices
- Provide guidance and best practices as they relate to audit and accounting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years of recent public accounting experience
- CPA certified and/or eligible for certification
- Ability to travel 20-25% annually
