I’m helping Mercor find a top candidate to join their team flexible for the role of Investment Banking Analyst - AI Research Support . You will leverage your financial expertise to directly train and evaluate frontier AI models. Compensation: USD 100 - 130/hour Location: Remote: United States Mission of Mercor: "We connect human expertise with leading AI labs and enterprises to train frontier models." About the Role
- We are looking for experienced investment banking professionals to support a research project with a leading AI lab.
- The work draws directly on your financial expertise to help train and evaluate frontier AI models, and strong contributors are regularly considered for follow-on projects.
Responsibilities
- Financial modeling.
- Building pitch decks.
- Producing investment and analysis summaries and memos.
- Conducting company and industry analysis.
- Supporting AI model training and evaluation using your financial expertise.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in investment banking at a top firm.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: financial modeling, pitch decks, investment/analysis summaries and memos, company/industry analysis.
- Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week.
- Based in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia.
