Responsibilities: - Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients - Provide therapy and support to individuals dealing with behavioral and emotional issues - Develop treatment plans and goals for each patient - Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors - Offer counseling on gender-related issues and provide support to individuals exploring their gender identity - Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Provide counseling and support to patients with PTSD and assist in their recovery process - Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of experience in counseling or related field - Proficient in conducting individual and group counseling sessions - Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and techniques - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus Skills: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Empathy and compassion towards patients dealing with emotional challenges - Ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Strong organizational skills to manage caseload effectively If you are a dedicated counselor who is passionate about helping individuals overcome their challenges, we would love to hear from you.
