Geriatric Licensed Clinical Counselor/Therapist

• This is a independent contractor position (1099) for licensed clinical therapists.* We are looking for an empathetic and supportive Mental Health Counselor with a genuine desire to help and improve the lives of others. As a Blue Moon therapist, you will help our senior clients cope with difficulties in life through psychotherapy. You should listen and understand your clients’ needs to help provide the right assistance and resources while managing several cases at once. Duties and Responsibilities

• Work as an Independent Contractor
• Provide Telehealth therapy with clients
• Assess senior clients’ needs and develop strategies to help
• Provide support and resources for clients; research and refer clients to resources if available
• Listen and provide counseling or psychotherapy sessions for adults or senior clients

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master’s degree required
• LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in this state required. We currently cannot accept applicants with an associates license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
• Geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word)
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
