Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry, Customer Service (On-Site/Overnight), you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with our pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. You will also be responsible for triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying correct dosages, and maintaining accurate customer records.

Day in the Life

As a member of our front-end team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with our pharmacists to ensure accuracy
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
