Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customs Trade Coordinator to join our remote data entry team at arenaflex. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless customs clearance, accurate data entry, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Accurately process and arrange customs clearance for shipments, utilizing data from various sources, including databases, SOPs, duty books, and the web
  • Handle and process different import-related documentation for submission to US Customs, as well as manage relationships with participating government agencies (PGAs)
  • Maintain and update all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to arenaflex's policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver exceptional service and meet customer expectations
  • Process organizational financier shipments and manage distant filings as needed
  • Ensure adherence to all service and operational standards, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration)

  • No prior industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, with experience using MS Office, Viewpoint, and other office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using discretion and judgment to make decisions
  • Familiarity with various systems and reference materials, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in customs trade, logistics, or a related field
  • Experience working with government agencies, transporters, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's systems, processes, and procedures
