[Remote] Podcast Producer (Intern)

They are seeking a Podcast Producer Intern to assist in the planning, production, and execution of podcast episodes, providing practical experience in a remote setting.
- Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, production, and execution of podcast episodes
- Support episode preparation, including research, outlines, and show notes
- Coordinate with hosts and guests to ensure smooth recording sessions
- Edit and refine audio content for clarity, pacing, and quality
- Incorporate music, transitions, and basic sound design elements
- Help manage podcast production schedules and content calendars
- Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams on promotional assets
- Ensure brand voice and consistency across podcast materials
- Organize and maintain audio files and production assets
- Support ad hoc multimedia and content initiatives as needed
- Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong interest in podcasts, digital media, or content production
- Basic familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment
- Willingness to learn production workflows and tools
- Experience with audio editing or multimedia projects
- Understanding of podcast formats, structure, and storytelling
- Familiarity with microphones, recording setups, or remote recording tools
- Basic knowledge of branding or digital content strategy
- Ability to adapt quickly to feedback and creative direction
- Interest in media production, interviewing, or content creation
- Comfort collaborating across cross-functional teams
