We are seeking an experienced Construction and Building Inspector to contribute industry expertise to advanced AI training initiatives. In this fully remote role, you will apply your real-world inspection knowledge to help develop and refine AI systems focused on construction compliance, safety standards, and regulatory accuracy. Your insights will directly support the creation of intelligent tools designed to enhance the construction and building inspection field.

  • *Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, review, and annotate construction and inspection-related data to support AI model development
  • Interpret building plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for structured AI training inputs
  • Provide subject matter expertise on construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Develop realistic inspection scenarios and case studies to improve AI understanding of field conditions
  • Document inspection processes, compliance decision-making, and best practices for training optimization
  • Collaborate remotely with technical teams to clarify industry standards and ensure model accuracy
  • Identify gaps in AI-generated outputs and recommend improvements based on hands-on inspection experience
  • *Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Construction and Building Inspector or closely related construction compliance role
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Proficiency with digital documentation tools and remote collaboration platforms
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams

  • Professional certifications such as ICC, NFPA, or equivalent inspection credentials
  • Experience contributing to AI training, data annotation, or technical content development
  • Background in mentoring, training, or developing inspection guidelines
