Produce Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) to evaluate Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) performance of shipboard systems. Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles and data analysis to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems, policies, support systems, and management related to RAM. Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Contribute to the development of Navy and commercial specifications in relation to RAM development, requirements, and management. Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) processes in accordance with MIL-STD-3034. Apply Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) analyses. Ensure compliance with all relevant security requirements and maintain eligibility for a final U.S. Government security clearance.

Qualifications

Required: BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. US Citizen with ability to obtain Scent Level Clearance with the DOD. Minimum of six years of post-graduate marine, power, or manufacturing plant technical experience. Ability to attain NAVSEA certifications in Classic and Backfit RCM (per the MIL-STD-3034 (RCM) Process). Eligibility to possess a final U.S. Government security clearance. Experience with Navy and commercial ship Design Specifications and maintenance management. Experience or fluency with reading and comprehending engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other technical documentation for RAM analysis. Fluency in relevant maintenance and reliability engineering tools (i.e., Reliability Block Diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis). Familiarity with reliability analysis software (i.e., Reliasoft, RAPTOR, Windchill). Passion for enhancing naval operations through innovative RAM practices. Position is primarily remote with occasional travel to the Washington Navy Yard or CACI Chantilly office. Desired: Active Clearance with DOD Active USCG license. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or Certified Reliability Engineer. Background in reliability engineering and shipboard operations. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
