Elite Therapy Providers has an immediate opening for a part time PT independent contractor to provide in-home physical therapy. Treatments are one-on-one in order to fully build therapeutic alliance and achieve patient-centered results. Elite offers flexibility in schedule as you make your own appointments and see the number of patients you want. Location: Inland Empire- Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario San Gabriel Valley- Pasadena, Rosemead, Temple City, El Monte, Baldwin Park, San Dimas South Bay- Torrance, Carson, El Segundo, Palos Verdes and surrounding areas Responsibilities:
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Assesses the therapeutic and rehabilitative status of the patient and develops an appropriate treatment plan for each patient; updates and modifies the treatment plan on an ongoing basis
- Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Restoration of functional mobility post-surgery
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for rehabilitation and injury prevention
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted CA Physical Therapy license
- Valid CA drivers license and insurance
- Ability to travel 10-15 miles from your residence
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Inner drive to continually learn and grow
