Artist Residencies
AIR/HMC, Artist Residencies, Budapest, Hungary 2026 Subject for 2026: Treasures (APPRECIATE, VALUE, אַנ Summary, PRIZE, TREASURE, CHERISH) AIR/HMC Budapest offers artists the opportunity to work independently in Budapest. During the residency, artists can showcase their work in a gallery exhibition, participate in an Artist Talk, and host an Open Studio. Sessions:
- Session 1: June 02 - June 19, 2026
- Session 2: June 23 - July 10, 2026
- Session 3: July 14 - July argos, 2026
Requirements
Submit a concise description (one paragraph) of the project or type of work you plan to pursue during the requested time frame, the application form; 3–5 images or sample writing, CV, or resume. Application Deadline: January 31, 2026 Application Instructions AIR/HMC, Budapest: Fees US $25 non‑refundable application fee (paid via Zelle – Beata Szechy). Each accepted artist per session pays a $400 deposit to secure their place and $700 in cash at arrival. The booking fee is non‑refundable.
