Temp Team Admin Assistant (Maternity Cover) Location | Cape Town Contract Type | Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Employment Type | Full-time, Hybrid We are seeking a highly organised and dependable Temp Team Admin Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is essential to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the team and is ideally suited to someone who enjoys structure, coordination, and being a trusted support across multiple workstreams. Purpose of the role The Temp Team Admin Assistant will provide hands-on administrative and coordination support to the team, ensuring continuity, efficiency, and clear communication during the maternity cover period. You will work closely with team members and stakeholders, supporting both routine and ad-hoc administrative needs. Key responsibilities

  • General administrative support to the team
  • Diary management, meeting scheduling, and calendar coordination
  • Preparing, formatting, and filing documents
  • Managing emails, correspondence, and follow-ups
  • Assisting with onboarding, internal coordination, and team logistics
  • Capturing data, assisting with reports, and maintaining records
  • Supporting processes and ensuring admin tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Providing ad-hoc support as required

Minimum requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative, office support, or team assistant role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Fixed-term contract for the duration of maternity leave
