Regional Director Revenue Management

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Regional Director of Revenue Management working out of our beautiful corporate office in downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina! What will you be doing most days?

  • Will monitor, evaluate, and maximize the property's use of brand pricing structures and strategies, ensuring compliance with multiple brand requirements
  • Leverage brand resources, technology, and programs to drive market share and RevPAR performance for the hotel
  • Develop confident, proactive recommendations to drive revenue results for assigned properties throughout the week and during calls
  • Assist in designing selling strategies and plans to maximize hotel profit
  • Utilize industry analysis tools such as Smith Travel Reports, eCommerce, Travelclick and brand/franchise reporting to monitor and develop creative strategies including all aspects of pricing, demand analysis, market share, market segmentation, and seasonality
  • Support hotel operations and sales staff through identification of local issues and through assistance in producing property revenue plans
  • Schedule and lead productive weekly revenue management conference calls with hotel management and sales teams
  • Take ownership interest in assuring all relevant information, including items specific to the hotel's local area, are reviewed as revenue plans are developed
  • Work closely with hotel GMs and DOSs, regional support and marketing team members to support the hotels.

What are the Requirements for this position?

  • You have a bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business, hospitality or equivalent work experience. You have three or more years experience in multi-unit revenue management with focus in a select service lodging environment.
  • You have experience working with third party websites and merchant Models
  • You have strong technical and analytical skills to gather, analyze, organize, and communicate financial and numerical information
  • You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements for the position: You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates. Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 10% travel.
