The organization is recognized for their commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. They are currently looking to add a Senior Treasury Advisor to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $53/hr Position Overview: The Senior Treasury Advisor manages daily cash balances, maintains bank accounts, and prepares daily cash reports. The role involves direct financial activities, including planning, procurement, and investments for the organization. The Senior Treasury Advisor ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and supports strategic financial operations. Responsibilities of the Senior Treasury Advisor:

  • Manage daily cash balances and liquidity.
  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare and review daily cash reports.
  • Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel.
  • Monitor financial activities to ensure compliance.
  • Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements.
  • Recommend organizational process or policy changes.
  • Direct financial operations and prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets.
  • Establish interpersonal business relationships to facilitate work activities.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Treasury Advisor:

  • Complex problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Judgment and decision-making.
  • Management of financial resources.
  • Strong reading comprehension and written communication.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Several years of work-related experience in treasury or financial management.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Treasury Advisor:

  • Experience in the global energy or services sectors.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting and structured query language (SQL).
  • Leadership orientation and achievement focus.
  • Intellectual curiosity and cautiousness.
  • Integrity and attention to detail.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in treasury or financial management are advantageous.
