Transportation Coordinator

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being. Schedule: Day Shift Pay: $15/hr Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:  Orientation, training and scheduling of drivers.  Receive transportation calls/inquiries.  Attend meetings as required.  Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department.  Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers.  Ability to respond to emergency situations.  Ability to work alone.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of force, if necessary.  Other duties as assigned. Technical Competencies: Valid driver’s license; familiarity of basic auto repairs. Knowledge of CARF standards. Determine most efficient routes to specified locations; ensures driver availability when needed; maintain a safe driving record; demonstrates conduct in keeping with PYRAMID ethical standards; participates in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills. Education, Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience preferred, but not required. Team player; confidentiality; safety; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal relationships; calm and decisive in crisis situations. Job-related Behavioral Characteristics: Demonstrates professionalism, leadership, confidentiality, strong social communication skills, time-management, organized. Must possess skills to communicate effectively and interact well with people of diverse backgrounds. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information, working well in an individual/ group problem solving situation, and showing initiative in problem solving. Maintains professionalism and does not show favoritism. Maintains consistency with clients, staff, visitors, and the public. Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately. Flexibility and adaptable. Ability to make decisions in an objective and ethical manner. Calm and decisive in crisis situations. Ability to sustain a team environment, drive continuous improvement projects, confidentiality, excellent problem-solving skills and excellent communicator within the team framework.
