We are searching for the best talent for our Associate Director (m/f/d) Physician Programs position in South Germany. As Associate Director (m/f/d) Physician Programs you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive market growth and establish strong relationships with industry leaders. You will work closely with various teams to identify opportunities, implement market development initiatives, and manage relationships with existing key opinion leaders as well as identify new ones to influence and drive market trends. You will work in close alignment with internal stakeholders to coordinate and implement programs that support Abiomed's mission of increasing, awareness, education, and adoption of Impella therapies. You will be responsible for: Develop and implement a market development strategy to drive therapy growth and adoption Identify and analyze market opportunities to expand the company's presence and reach. (Existing & new indications, Key account segmentation) Develop programs and networks of care at Focus accounts, optimizing patient pathways and service improvement initiatives Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders & Societies to enhance the company's reputation and influence. Support KOL, Clinical & Non-clinical engagement plans, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for market development initiatives Act as a liaison between the company and KOLs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align market development strategies with overall business goals & strategic decision-making Qualifications / Requirements: BA/BS required. MBS or MBA preferred. >7 years of related industry sales & market/therapy development experience Mastery of cardiac anatomy and clinical data, ideally combined with medical device background Prior KOL management experience or existing relationships in geographic area Must be able to travel overnight extensively (70% depending on geography) Strong understanding of regional health care policy and payment systems, including hospital and physician reimbursement. Outstanding interpersonal skills, experienced developing relationships at all organizational levels to influence business objectives. Ability to balance strategic thinking with intricate planning and strong tactical execution. Demonstrates responsiveness and a sense of urgency Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English The anticipated base pay range for this position is 87.300 to 140.530 EUR.
