  • Audit records to ensure proper submission of services prior to submitting claim to payer
  • Supply correct ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes on all claims
  • Supply correct CPT code on all DME procedures and services performed
  • Submit claims to payer on a HFCA
  • Determines the diagnosis and procedure stated by the physician or other health care providers are valid and complete
  • Maintain compliance standards in accordance with the Compliance policies and reports any problems appropriately
  • Accurately follows coding guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory
  • Complete HCFA’s and submit to payers
  • Follow up on EOBs to determine reason for denial
  • Provide high level customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Demonstrate performance aligned with WRS guiding principles, including caring, collaboration, trustparency, and innovation

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function independently
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Experience with ICD-10 coding and CPT codes
  • Experience with completion of HCFA forms
