Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Data Entry / Medical Claims Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in healthcare administration or revenue cycle management. No prior experience is required—just strong attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn.
- Perform accurate data entry of patient and claim information
- Submit and track medical record requests
- Upload claims to clearinghouses for submission to insurance carriers
- Complete manual claim entry into carrier portals
- Review claims for completeness and accuracy before submission
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation
- Follow company procedures and compliance standards (HIPAA)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry systems)
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred (Not Required):
- Interest in healthcare, billing, or insurance
- Previous administrative or data entry experience
