Our award-winning client in the Fintech and Payment Industry is seeking a talented Customer Support Agent & KYC Analyst to join their team on a night shift basis (12:00 AM to 09:00 AM).

Main Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Agent & KYC Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling customer complaints, providing timely and appropriate solutions, and following up to ensure resolution via chat, email, or occasionally phone support.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, comments, and complaints.
  • Troubleshooting customer issues and escalating to the appropriate teams when necessary, using platforms like Slack.
  • Reviewing and analyzing customer information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence checks on new and existing customers to ensure compliance with KYC and AML regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent proficiency in Japanese: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers in Japanese.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: You should be able to provide reasonable solutions to customers and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Prior experience in customer-oriented or KYC roles: While not essential, prior experience in customer-facing or KYC roles will be beneficial in this position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in English.
  • Strong customer service skills: You should possess empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities to provide exceptional customer support.
  • Familiarity with customer service software and tools: You should be familiar with customer service software and tools, including Slack.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: You should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work the night shift: You must be willing to work the night shift, from 12:00 AM to 09:00 AM, 5 days per week, and occasionally including weekends and bank holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be beneficial in this role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: A college degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Relevant experience in customer service: Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a global support environment, will be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Customer Support Agent & KYC Analyst, you will receive:

  • Competitive salary: £27,400.00 per year.
  • 8 hour shift: You will work an 8 hour shift, from 12:00 AM to 09:00 AM.
  • Night shift: You will work the night shift, 5 days per week, and occasionally including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Remote work: You will work remotely, with the flexibility to work from home or any other location.
