Job Summary

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company databases. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect necessary information, accurately capture data into relevant databases, and identify and correct errors. Key Responsibilities

* Maintain the database by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and processing customer and account source documents
  • Review data for deficiencies and resolve them using standard procedures, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Enter customer and account data accurately using keyboard or optical scanner, verifying entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering information as needed
  • Combine data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete, and purge files to eliminate duplicate data
  • Test system changes and upgrades by inputting new data, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
  • Secure information by completing database backups, maintaining data confidentiality and integrity

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous data entry or related office experience preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills are a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and proficiency in data entry and typing
  • Familiarity with database management systems and good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in data entry or related office roles

  • Familiarity with computer systems and data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with database management software, such as Access or SQL
