Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Healthcare Eligibility Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining eligibility data for benefits, both manually and through automated systems
- Interacting with internal partners and external clients/vendors to manage and resolve eligibility issues
- Generating reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Providing technical support for electronic eligibility processing and troubleshooting system issues as needed
- Ensuring customer data is installed and maintained accurately and promptly
- Collaborating with technical systems teams to resolve system-related issues
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement in managing eligibility cases
- Providing support with manual and automated eligibility processes and reporting tools
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
Prior work-at-home (WAH) experience is highly preferred
Technical Skills:
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote + Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues (setting up equipment, navigating systems) + Familiarity with eligibility systems, reporting tools, and manual/automated data entry is a plus
Soft Skills:
+ Strong reliability and excellent attendance record + Ability to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly defined procedures + Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
Schedule:
As a remote employee, you will be required to work the following schedule:
Training Schedule:
+ 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST for 4 weeks (Classroom training) + Additional 2 weeks of on-the-job training
Regular Schedule:
+ 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST (Monday to Friday), with scheduling based on business needs
Notes:
* The position is production-based, involving calls but not structured as a traditional inbound call center role
