Job Summary
As a Contact Center Agent, you'll be responsible for interacting with customers via phone, providing information, and resolving inquiries and concerns related to our insurance coverage and products. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution. Key Responsibilities
* Interact with customers via phone to provide information, resolve inquiries, and address concerns related to our insurance coverage and products
* Transfer calls to the appropriate department to ensure efficient issue resolution
* Follow up on unresolved inquiries and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
* Research and resolve customer issues using our computer system
* Identify, research, and resolve billing and claims issues
* Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
* Navigate through automated information systems to analyze customer situations
* Perform in a fast-paced, changing environment, maintaining high-quality scores
* Demonstrate flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as needed
* Other duties as assigned by the management team related to job functions
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* Work experience in a face-to-face or call center environment
* Experience multitasking between programs and completing required data entry of client demographics or client lookup systems while talking to customers
* Work experience using a corporate email system
* Experience navigating through system applications on a desktop computer or laptop
* Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
* Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Highly preferred: Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English and either Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish
* Healthcare industry work experience
* Call Center experience in a metrics-driven environment
* Previous healthcare work experience interacting with members and/or providers
