Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Online Chat Specialist to join our team as a remote Amazon Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support via online chat software, resolving customer issues, and creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support via online chat software, responding to incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns

  • Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Work collaboratively with the Online Chat Manager to resolve complex customer issues
  • Continuously demonstrate an ability to stay calm under pressure while providing enthusiastic customer service
  • Hand multiple incoming requests for information in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide quick and accurate assistance to customers, ensuring a positive experience

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or customer service) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an online chat environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in online chat software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Knowledge of Amazon's policies and procedures
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
