Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Disney Fan Engagement Team, you'll be responsible for monitoring and responding to customer inquiries and comments on Disney social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex problems, generate insights from customer interactions to provide feedback and improve services, and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on Disney social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.

  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Generate insights from customer interactions to provide feedback and improve services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and satisfaction on social media platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media customer support.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English (additional languages a plus).

  • Proven experience in customer service or social media management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective functionalities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.

• Previous experience in customer support or related fields.

  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Passion for Disney and its products.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and platforms.
