Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our virtual support team on a part-time basis, working weekends between 9am and 6pm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest inquiries, and coordinating various tasks to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Respond to guest inquiries in real-time, confirming bookings and providing timely updates
  • Keep track of vacation rental listings, reservations, and messages, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Offer customer support via vacation rental platform messaging or via phone, resolving issues and addressing concerns
  • Provide check-in instructions and accommodate check-in/check-out requests, ensuring a smooth guest experience
  • Coordinate cleaning and maintenance services with our housekeeping/maintenance teams, ensuring timely and efficient services
  • Build standard operating procedures to help systematize our business, improving efficiency and reducing errors
  • Cold call agents and landlords regarding property rental opportunities on a weekly basis, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our network

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or short-term rental industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, agents, and landlords
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in using vacation rental platforms, such as arenaflex's proprietary system, and other software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team, with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Flexibility to work weekends, with the possibility of converting to a full-time role for the right candidate

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in a virtual or remote work environment
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's proprietary system and other software applications
  • Familiarity with the short-term rental industry and its trends
  • Certification in customer service or hospitality management
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate with guests from diverse backgrounds
