The Role

As a Student Success Coach, you'll be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students throughout their educational program. You'll work closely with students to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and goals, and develop personalized plans to help them achieve their objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supporting enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a quality learning experience
• Managing a group of assigned students and coaching each through their degree program through proactive and timely outreach
• Encouraging and supporting students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success
• Providing a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests
• Offering and teaching students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student
• Becoming a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support
• Serving as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)
• Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling
• Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
• Ability to learn technical skills quickly
• Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner
• Strong customer support focus and attention to details

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home office. Schedule and Availability

We're open Monday-Thursday 8am to 7pm CDT, and Friday & Saturday 8am to 5pm CDT. We hire people from all time zones that have availability during our hours of operation, in support of our students. You'll be required to work an assigned schedule during our hours of operation, which defines a 40-hour work week.
