Incorporated in 1984, Philanthropy Ohio is a 501(c) (3) organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Our members provide grants to nonprofit organizations that work to improve the lives of community residents. Position Summary The Communications & Membership Coordinator assists in implementing Philanthropy Ohio’s communications and membership strategies for internal and external audiences to meet the organization’s strategic goals. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Communications & Membership, the Coordinator enhances membership growth and engagement through strategic communications, creating compelling content, cultivating relationships with members and utilizing data to strengthen organizational impact. The Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented communicator who takes initiative, delivers high-quality work, collaborates effectively and is committed to exceptional member service and Philanthropy Ohio’s mission. Philanthropy Ohio is a remote-first workplace. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Ohio. The Coordinator may be located anywhere within the state, with occasional travel to Columbus and to convenings across Ohio as needed. Salary range: $45,000 – $52,500 plus benefits, which includes 15 days vacation, sick leave, retirement benefits, medical, dental, vision life insurance, parental leave, and a collegial work environment.
