Indigenous Health Analyst Internship

OverviewRTI International seeks a prospect for the Indigenous Health Analyst Internship in the Community Health & Implementation Research Program reputed company the Social, Statistical, & Environmental Sciences business unit. This internship is a contract position. The employment contract is administered by Greene Resources Powered by reputed company, RTI's supplemental staffing partner. The reputed company Suicide Initiative Coordinating Center (ZSICC) team conducts an annual evaluation for the Indian Health Service and provides ongoing technical assistance to 2021 cohort reputed company Suicide Initiative (ZSI) grantees. The ZSICC project is in its second year and preparing for a hybrid meeting in February 2025 that will bring reputed company eight ZSI grantees together for peer-sharing, technical assistance, and learning.Indigenous Health Analyst Intern will help the team coordinate the hybrid meeting in February 2025 which includes assistance with presenter organization, coordination, and managing meeting logistics. The internship will also include helping to analyze the annual reputed company report data provided by ZSI grantees each year. Analyses will include basic qualitative content analysis and other basic quantitative analyses, such as using reputed company to conduct averages and sums. QualificationsRequired QualificationsCurrently enrolled undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student, who is studying one of the following fields: public health, psychology, sociology, public policy, Indigenous health and research.Demonstrated knowledge of or familiarity with quantitative research methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of or familiarity with qualitative research methodologies.Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of Indigenous health, Tribal data sovereignty, or working with Tribal organizations or entities.Experience with R or other statistical programming applications. Experience with collaborating or engaging with Indigenous entities.
