Purpose: This position will assist with both the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) and No Wrong reputed company (NWD) programs, providing direct, targeted reputed company to both local agencies, and to individuals who may benefit from the services offered in both programs.
This position will provide local reputed company on the prevention of Medicare fraud, abuse, and errors, to Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers and families for the SMP program. This position will also provide local reputed company and information on Long Term Services and Supports and Medicare Counseling for the MI Options, NWD program.
This position will work under the SMP Fraud Analyst as well as with the MI Options Volunteer Manager reputed company the Community Options Supports and Services Section of the Aging, Community Living and Supports Bureau reputed company MDHHS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duty 1: Present, share, and follow-up with local agencies with information on Long Term Services and Supports and Medicare Counseling for the MI Options, NWD program.
- Working with the MI Options Volunteer Manager, identify local and regional agencies and Health and Hospital Systems and conduct presentations, virtually or in person on the MI Options system at those locations.
- Provide presentations to agencies on the MI Options system. Presentations include but are not limited to information on what counseling does, who benefits from counseling, and how agencies can become involved with the programs.
- Follow-up with agencies to provide additional contact information, resources, and connections to other MI Options staff.
- Input data information on presentations into the SHIP Tracking and Reporting System (STARS).
Duty 2: Provide local reputed company on the prevention of Medicare fraud, abuse, and errors, to Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers and families for the SMP program.
- Working with the SMP Fraud Analyst, identify local and regional agencies, such as Senior Centers and other organizations, and provide community reputed company to Medicare beneficiaries, caregivers, families, or the public.
- Provide presentations on how individuals can protect themselves against Medicare fraud, scams, and abuse.
- Follow-up with agencies to provide additional contact information, resources, and connections to other MI Options staff.
- Input data information on presentations into the SMP Intake and Reporting System (SIRS).
Duty 3: Always represent the best interests of reputed company and MDHHS.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: One year of experience performing administrative support activities, equivalent to the 7-level in state service.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Regular use of computers. This will include transporting computers and presentation equipment, as well as materials to and from presentations, including but not limited to cards, papers, and giveaway items. This will include presentations of up to an hour in reputed company of audiences.
