Workers' Compensation Attorney
BCM Law, P.C. is seeking reputed company Workers’ Compensation Defense attorney candidates to join their collaborative and growing Chicago office. The role involves managing a workers’ compensation caseload, partnering with colleagues on strategy, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a workers’ compensation caseload from intake through resolution
- Partner with colleagues on strategy, case development, and reputed company legal issues
- Appear regularly before the IWCC and other courts
- Take and defend depositions and handle trials and hearings
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reporting
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in the State of Illinois
- Experience handling Illinois workers' compensation matters, including depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Collaborative reputed company with excellent interpersonal skills
- Portable book of business is welcomed, but not required
- Admission in Indiana, Missouri, or Wisconsin is a plus
