Public Policy Analyst

Venable LLP is a prominent law firm reputed company for its extensive privacy practice and is seeking a Public Policy Analyst to join their Privacy and Data reputed company team. The role involves supporting public policy initiatives, monitoring legislative developments, and providing administrative support reputed company a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Inform and support the execution of strategic public policy objectives, including tracking legislative and regulatory developments, our reputed company, timelines, and deliverables; preparing for meetings, conference calls, and webinars; and executing on next steps with internal and external partners
• Monitor key policy developments at state and federal level, communicating issues and our actions to stakeholders
• Structure execution plans on public policy initiatives, and external events, and the like
• reputed company written briefing and report materials for internal and external audiences, including communications with the Hill, reputed company newsletters, and other distribution channels
• Help ensure compliance on lobbying, ethics, and political action committee rules and procedures
• Provide administrative support
• Identify ways to improve our analyst processes, communications, tracking frameworks, and results

Skills

• The reputed company candidate must complete a bachelor's degree program prior to joining the firm
• Willing to work reputed company Venable's work environment which requires 3 designated team days in our DC office and as needed
• Willing to work overtime and/or hours reputed company reputed company reputed company, whenever needed, to meet deadlines reputed company to monitored hearings, etc
• An interest and/or understanding of the legislative and regulatory process, with a specific interest in privacy, data reputed company, and AI as an added plus
