Insurance Broker and Retirement Advisor (Company-paid insurance licensing course)
Cornerstone Wealth Advisory Group is looking to expand its agency in the Charleston area by bringing in talented individuals for the role of Insurance Broker and Retirement Advisor. This position involves making phone calls to book client appointments, educating clients on insurance and financial matters, and providing a range of products and services tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
- This is a full-time position with an expectation of 35-40 hours per week in your first year, and then flexibility in your schedule after that
- 2-3 days per week you will come to the office where you will be given leads to reputed company phone calls and book appointments. You must be able/willing to reputed company as many phone calls as it takes to book 5-7 appointments for the following day
- 2-3 days per week you will physically go to the appointments you have booked. You are able to choose the location in which you run appointments
- The purpose of these appointments is to provide education to the clients regarding their insurance and financial matters, such as:
- Their health insurance (frequently we are meeting with newly retired individuals who need guidance about Medicare Insurance)
- Their life insurance
- Their investments
- If there are products and services that may help them, you will present those products to them
- Through our agency, you will be brokered with more than 150 different insurance companies so you will have many options for your clients
- You will earn commissions based on your sales
- Your license will give you general knowledge, but your on-the-job training will give you your career. - Must have your own vehicle for driving to and from client appointments
- Must have laptop or tablet
- Willing to reputed company phone calls to book client appointments. (Leads will be provided)
- Good communication is a must
- If selected for this position you will be required to complete the online insurance licensing course reputed company 45 days. (it's a 40 hour course)
- You must pass the state exam, pass a background reputed company and fingerprinting and application to the state for your license
- You must be in a financially stable situation in which you can handle fluctuating earnings
