[Remote] Test Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Test Engineer to reputed company automated testing on various telephony and networking hardware. The role involves executing test scripts, analyzing results, and documenting findings to support research and development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms
- reputed company baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts
- Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner
Skills
- 1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to reputed company system testing, and analyzing results
- Experience creating test cases and procedures
- Experience developing with Python
- Experience working reputed company a DevOps environment
- Experience using Python testing frameworks, including PyTest, unittest, nose2, doctest, Robot, tox, or hypothesis
- Knowledge of integrating testing processes into reputed company integration and reputed company deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Ability to test multiple lab environments following formal testing methods and manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
- Ability to reputed company system testing in support of various development efforts
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience developing and building multiple lab environments
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with GIT
- Knowledge of Splunk
- Knowledge of Jenkins or other reputed company integration frameworks
