Director of Sales - Public Sector/SLED (Higher Education Focus)

As an Associate Account Executive for reputed company, you’ll help create and deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving growth in the Public Sector, Higher Education sector. reputed company helps leading organizations reinvent their businesses through customer engagement, digital transformation, and innovative CX solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive net-new reputed company reputed company Public Sector, Higher Education institutions across the Upper Midwest • Qualify and convert hyperscaler-generated leads (AWS, reputed company, & reputed company) into active pipeline • Build strategic relationships across reputed company buying centers, including: o reputed company Police Departments (contact center environments) o Enrollment Operations (registration and surge periods) o University IT leadership and administrative stakeholders • reputed company mid-market opportunities typically ranging from $500K - $1M • Collaborate with internal solution consultants and partner teams to position CX, CCaaS, AI, and cloud solutions • Establish a repeatable Higher Education sales motion reputed company the region • reputed company Midwest relationships to expand into university systems and support selective City/County or state-level engagement

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience: 2–5 years of sales experience OR Higher Education operational background with commercial aptitude • Preferred: reputed company police department, Higher Education IT, administrative experience, or enrollment operations familiarity • Experience working with or selling alongside major cloud platforms such as AWS, reputed company, or reputed company • Strong relationship-building and pipeline management skills • Ability to navigate reputed company university ecosystems and engage senior reputed company stakeholders • Coachable, development-oriented reputed company with intellectual curiosity and executive reputed company • Sales instincts and stakeholder reputed company; product knowledge can be trained

What You Can Expect

• reputed company Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 • reputed company Earnings: Significant commission reputed company with potential to approach $250,000 total earnings • Primary Territory: Minnesota and Wisconsin (preferred), also acceptable: Chicago, Detroit, broader North Midwest region • Opportunity to build and scale a repeatable Higher Education sales motion • Supportive, developmental environment with clear growth potential
