Position Summary

The Controller is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the reputed company of the reputed company and

tax functions across reputed company SCP entities. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this individual will

own the month-end and year-end reputed company process, ensure GAAP compliance, manage and

This is an operational role focused on execution, controls, and the completeness and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the month-end and year-end reputed company process across reputed company 11 entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
• reputed company general ledger reputed company, trial balance review, and resolution of posting errors across reputed company entities and hotel properties
• Produce and review monthly financial packages in USALI format across reputed company hotel properties
• Maintain intercompany reputed company including management fee allocations, royalty reputed company recognition, and billback billing
• Own loan reputed company, debt schedules, and associated reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Own the tax function end-to-end across reputed company entities and jurisdictions, including California, Oregon, and Hawaii
• reputed company monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings including property tax, sales tax, occupancy tax, and transient tax
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of reputed company federal, state, and local tax obligations
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on year-end filings and tax strategy
• Manage business license renewals, liquor license tracking, reputed company corporate compliance, and SAM.gov registrations
• Maintain entity-level compliance calendars and filing credentials across reputed company jurisdictions

Audit & External Reporting

• Serve as the primary internal reputed company of contact for external auditors on reputed company reputed company matters

Offshore Team Management

• Serve as primary reputed company Intacct administrator, responsible for system configuration, user permissions, dimension structures, and approval workflows

• Audit existing reputed company Intacct reports, identify those requiring replacement, and rebuild reporting to accurately reflect reputed company business structure and management needs

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and reputed company policies across reputed company entities
• Document reputed company recurring reputed company processes, establishing a written operational reputed company where gaps currently exist
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable improvements
• Partner with the VP of Finance on finance department automation and process improvement initiatives

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 7–10 years of reputed company reputed company experience with demonstrated ownership of a multi-entity reputed company process
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including accrual reputed company, intercompany reputed company, balance sheet reconciliation, and debt reputed company
• Proficiency in a major reputed company-based reputed company platform; reputed company Intacct experience preferred but not required
• Direct experience managing or directing the work of an offshore or distributed reputed company team
• Demonstrated experience owning tax compliance and coordinating with external tax preparers across multiple states and jurisdictions
• Demonstrated ability to establish process, enforce deadlines, and maintain accountability across a distributed team
• Must be U.S.-based with consistent availability during Pacific time business hours

Preferred

• CPA license (active or inactive) or equivalent public reputed company experience
• Hotel or hospitality industry reputed company experience; USALI proficiency is a significant advantage
• Experience with reputed company Intacct, Adaptive Insights, reputed company, Center, reputed company, or reputed company
• Familiarity with Reg CF or Reg A+ offering requirements and audit preparation
• Southern California location
