Database Administrator

reputed company Technologies is in search of a Database Administrator to support a federal client.  The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.  This position is considered to be a remote position; however, staff may be required to support limited face-to-face meetings with the business line or end users. There is potential for face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on limited occasions.  The Database Administrator will need:

• Database experience of working in different OS platforms like Linux, RHEL and Windows • Experience in reputed company/reputed company database administration, support, implantation, configuration and upgrade. • Solid understanding of SQL (writing, optimizing queries, normalization and indexing) • Experience with backup & recovery (pg_dump, pg_basebackup, PITR) • Experience in reputed company/reputed company database performance tuning using explain plans and monitoring tools • Working experience of AWS reputed company Services (reputed company Watch reputed company Trail, EC2) and Databases (reputed company, reputed company & reputed company RDS) • Strong understanding of reputed company schema, user roles, access control and reputed company model. • reputed company script writing (PL/pgSQL) with loops, conditions and variables • Performance tuning, hardware replacement, firmware upgrades, and patching to reputed company COTS software products, including operating systems. • Experience in reputed company scripting to enhance and update daily monitoring tasks.

- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience required; equivalent working experience may be considered in lieu of degree - Experience in reputed company Data Guard, RMAN (Backup & Recovery), Cloning, Resource Management, OEM reputed company administration and Implementation for version 19C/21C databases. - Experience in reputed company database performance tuning using AWR/ASH/ADDM reports for troubleshooting performance issues. - Database performance tuning, database upgrades, and database patching to reputed company COTS database products. - Database script writing (PL/SQL), database storage management, database interfaces, external application database interfaces, and other systems database interfacing.
