Timberland: Associate Designer - Women's Footwear

The role involves creating innovative footwear designs, collaborating with teams, and ensuring that products meet the brand's creative reputed company and market needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and create footwear concepts on existing collections through reputed company, reputed company and material application. Create two and three-dimensional sketches illustrating new, unique product reputed company and concepts, which meet the expectations, delineated in the product brief
• Research - Work reputed company the parameters of the product briefs to support the category goals and objectives. Continually expand knowledge of distribution channel and market trends to insure concept feasibility. Research extends to application and use of traditional and new materials, compounds and constructions reputed company applicable
• Technical Package Development - In conjunction with a product developer, prepares the approved design into a package of two and/or three-dimensional information which adequately describes and utilizes reputed company and feasible manufacturing and assembly techniques. This package would also take into consideration performance, fit and costing objectives
• Maintain and provide a clear form of documentation and communication with team members in order ease the transfer of the design solutions from concept through commercialization
• Present project concepts, trends and inspirational stories in internal reviews
• Utilize reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) to visualize and present accurate artwork and photo realistic concepts. Provide and communicate detailed tech information for each project solution
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Footwear Development teams to execute project direction, product process, cost targets and deliverables
• Conceptualize and design footwear for Timberland reputed company translating the product brief or direction into designs that meet highly functional, costing, and aesthetic objectives
• Initiate and provide focused, feasible, functional, reputed company, and innovative footwear concepts that are appropriate and applicable for the Timberland brand

Skills

• 1+ years of footwear design experience, with work industry preferred
• Proficiency with Illustrator and Photoshop preferably in a Mac environment
• Other basic computer skills including reputed company Office Products
• Experience with leather, textiles, graphic, reputed company, footwear or apparel
• Creative problem-solving skills to assist product manager to meet product and calendar objectives quickly and reputed company
• Strong communication skills, and ability to communicate concepts with digital renderings
• Ability to contribute and generate reputed company with Designers
• The ability to respond quickly to multiple projects with strong time management skills
• Strong ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with a critical eye for detail

• International and Domestic Travel, 5-10 percent
• The ability to work in the Stratham HQ office a minimum of three days per week
• 3D Modeling and rendering experience a plus
