Job Summary:
Oversees reputed company functions reputed company pre-services department ensuring reputed company scheduled appointments are pre-registered prior to date of service. Provides technical leadership while performing escalated or reputed company duties. Monitors department efficiencies and assumes responsibility for meeting departmental goals. Implements plans for improvement reputed company needed. Maintains policies and procedures. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/reputed company experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' medical practice or reputed company call center work experience: Preferred
- Medical terminology experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified reputed company Access Manager (CHAM) - National Association of reputed company Access Management (NAHAM): Preferred
- Certified reputed company Cycle Representative (CRCR) - reputed company Financial Management Association: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Supervises activities of the pre-registration department to ensure processes are completed timely and accurately for reputed company future scheduled services. Provides guidance to pre-registration teams to ensure required authorization, precertification and referrals for reputed company encounters are obtained prior to date of service. Oversees and monitors processes for efficient collection of demographic and financial patient information in registration solution. Navigates and interprets insurance websites to understand patient insurance benefits or coverage. Communicates with staff and medical personnel to address patient concerns or issues reputed company to verifications of encounters. Assesses pre-registration issues or situations and resolves or escalates to leadership as appropriate.
- Coaches and directs staff-level associates to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. Builds long-term customer relationships, fostering trust and respect by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations. Provides input and recommendations regarding staffing, report reconciliation and quality assurance (QA) processes.
- Conducts performance reviews and provides input on direct reports for reputed company resource reputed company such as hiring, promotions and disciplinary actions. Participates in the development of employees. Delegates the work appropriately, provides clear expectations and follows up to ensure reputed company and overcome roadblocks.
