Key Responsibilities
As a Patient AR/Customer Service Representative, your duties will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls from patients and responding to their medical billing inquiries
- Taking patient payments reputed company phone
- Speaking with patients about their payment responsibilities and addressing any questions regarding their Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Monitoring patients' accounts and following up on overdue balances
- Contacting patients to follow up on outstanding balances and sending accounts to collections as needed
- Assisting with posting payments and maintaining accurate records
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- General computer skills, typing skills, and a working knowledge of Medicare, reputed company Payer, and HIPAA Compliance
- Proficiency with Navinet and other payer websites for eligibility verification and claim status to reputed company conduct accounts receivable follow-up and maximize reputed company
- Requires understanding of accounts receivables in a reputed company setting
- Requires strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals, and precertification procedures
- Requires an ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in an occasionally stressful environment
Schedule
As a Patient AR/Customer Service Representative, you will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules. Overtime may be required.
