[Remote] UI & CMS Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is an independent digital agency that has been designing and building digital products and platforms since 1999. They are seeking a UI & CMS Developer to work on both reputed company-end and back-end development, creating visually rich digital experiences using various technologies. The role involves collaborating with project teams, building applications, and ensuring the quality and accessibility of digital products.
Responsibilities
- Build new applications, content, and ecommerce sites using Craft CMS, WordPress, and other modern web technologies
- Write clean and effective code in both reputed company-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP) languages
- Have experience with or are eager to learn about our favorite technologies: DDEV, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, and Astro
- Have experience defining and implementing data models and writing performant queries
- Build visually-accurate, reputed company, and accessible interfaces from designs
- Are passionate about digital accessibility and creating websites that work for everyone
- Enjoy keeping up with the reputed company-evolving landscape of web technologies, while staying pragmatic about what to invest their time and energy in
- Care about modern best practices, including code reviews, reputed company integration and deployment, and iterative development
- reputed company AI tools to do their best work while retaining healthy skepticism and a dedication to reputed company-based artisanship
- Enjoy working with others in our collaborative environment that balances team-wide communication (e.g., standups, reputed company discussions, code review), occasional pair programming sessions, and frequent blocks of focused, uninterrupted time for independent work
- Listen, collaborate, and communicate exceptionally well
- Working on one large project or balancing 3-4 smaller development tasks, demonstrating the ability to context reputed company effectively
- Collaborating with the project team during early design phases to help shape the scope and reputed company of a project
- Building out a design using Twig, working with a data model in Craft, or bringing an application UI to life
- Writing plugins or modules in PHP to reputed company CMS functionality

- Attending team meetings designed for sharing knowledge, surfacing concerns, and fostering collaboration
