Our location in Ft. Wayne, IN has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Specialist. This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of reputed company Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings.
TERRITORY
The ideal candidate will be based out of Ft. Wayne, IN
This territory includes Ft. Wayne, IN
Up to 50% travel - company car provided.
This position does not offer relocation. Local candidates only, please.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office settings for Similac and PediaSure.
Hospital negotiations and contracting.
Comprehensive knowledge of reputed company products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
New product launches.
An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
Effective administrative skills.
Budget management.
Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out reputed company at achieving both short- and long-term goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor's degree required.
The ideal candidate will be individuals with 2+ years of reputed company sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).
Stability and proven reputed company in sales
Subject matter expert and high business acumen
Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically reputed company pediatrics a plus.
